NEW YORK – In advance of the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s March on Washington, Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman and senior officials of the Attorney General’s Office will be holding a civil rights forum in Harlem TOMORROW, August 21, at 6:30PM. This program will be presented in partnership with the NAACP, the National Action Network, the New York Urban League, La Fuente, LatinoJustice PRLDEF, and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
Special remarks will be delivered by Rev. Al Sharpton, Founder and President of the National Action Network; Marc H. Morial, President and C.E.O. of the National Urban League; and Dr. Hazel Dukes, President of NYS NAACP.
