Statement From A.G. Schneiderman In Recognition Of Earth Day

NEW YORK – Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman today released the following statement in celebration of Earth Day:

“As we celebrate Earth Day, it is encouraging to look back on all of the exceptional work we’ve achieved in protecting our environment since 1970. From protecting air and water quality, to reducing our carbon footprint, we are moving towards a healthier and more sustainable environment for all.  

But safeguarding our environment is a shared responsibility-- and we cannot afford to stand idly by. This Earth Day, let us recommit ourselves to contributing in every way we can to improve our environment and ensure a healthier planet for the future.”
