NEW YORK—Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman released the following statement today on the 14th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks:
“Today I join with all New Yorkers in remembering the lives we lost 14 years ago. Our thoughts are with the families who lost mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters in these unspeakable attacks. And we remember the bravery of first responders who sacrificed their lives to save innocent victims in the face of danger. Cowardice and violence were answered with courage and sacrifice, and New York has continued to heal and grow stronger since this tragic day. Let us pray for the families and loved ones of the victims as we carry on their memory.”
